The present article is an attempt to show the state of the arts of Jewish studies in Brazil in two perspectives: the first, addressing the thematic, theoretical and methodological aspects that more recently inform and challenge Jewish studies in Brazil; and the second, mapping the institutions that dedicate themselves today to teaching and research with more academic bias in different Brazilian cities.
